The campus community took part Thursday in the "Reading of the Names," a daylong program on the front steps of Moseley Center organized by ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Hillel and the Truitt Center for Religious and Spiritual Life as part of Holocaust Remembrance Week.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students, faculty and staff traveled for a week in late March to assist communities with service work while learning about social issues that impact communities both in the United States and abroad.

The ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ African Society, in collaboration with CREDE, the Global Education Center, African and African American Studies, and the Latin American Student Organization, hosts ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ's first Africa Week, celebrating Africa's influence around the world. 

The university is among 20 schools and state health agencies taking part in a program meant to increase racial and ethnic diversity in the North Carolina healthcare workforce.
