For the first time since their creations in 2008, incoming Watson and Odyssey Scholars took part this week in a specially designed orientation program that introduces the academically talented students with financial need, or no family history of college, to resources available to them as ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ senior Cedric Pulliam, a political science and international studies double major with aspirations of joining the U.S. Foreign Service, will participate this summer in a highly selective national program that introduces scholars to diplomatic officials and career opportunities in international relations.

Junior strategic communications major Theresa Helmer has been selected for the Multicultural Advertising Internship Program and will intern this summer at an award-winning agency in Boulder, Colo.
