The Center for Race, Ethnicity & Diversity Education hosted the Black History Month Kickoff event on Thursday, Feb. 1. The theme for Black History Month 2024 at ������Ƶ is “Rhythms of Resilience: One Soul One Sound.”

A series of events coordinated by the Center for Race, Ethnicity and Diversity Education will celebrate Black History Month at ������Ƶ.

National Day of Racial Healing is on January 16 and ������Ƶ will have an event to honor the day.

Members of the university community will have options to give back during the week of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

The Center for Race, Ethnicity, & Diversity Education (CREDE) and the Division of Inclusive Excellence will host a dinner dialogue to explore how to create a more equitable world on Tuesday, Jan. 16, at 5 p.m.

¡Celebremos!: Graduates Take Flight is a celebration preceding commencement at ������Ƶ that honors the achievements of Latinx/Hispanic graduates and the contributions their families and friends have made throughout their educational journey.

The ������Ƶ community is invited to celebrate and learn more about the experiences, histories and heritage of Native and Indigenous communities.

The conference theme centered around building meaningful relationships with others by acknowledging diverse identities and learning from them.

During the workshops, students will learn about the eight major social identities and have the opportunity to reflect on their own experiences.
