Students from ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ's School of Communications placed in this year's Broadcast Education Association's Festival of Media Arts in several awards categories. They will be recognized at the organization's annual conference April 9-13 in Las Vegas.

Anthony Hatcher attends multimedia seminar

Anthony Hatcher, associate professor of communications, attended a seminar for journalism educators at the Poynter Institute in St. Petersburg, Fla., Feb. 7-11. Hatcher was selected to attend a workshop called Teaching Multimedia Journalism. The workshop covered video and audio editing software, as well as media ethics.
