Twelve board members and guests visited ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ on April 6 to learn about the priorities of the School of Communications, share their professional insights with students and faculty, and celebrate the tenure of Communications Dean Paul Parsons.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ, a Campus Consortium partner of the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting, hosted an April 5 community lecture featuring veteran reporters Rachel Oswald, Reza Sayah and Tom Hundley.

The film, “The Nature of Consciousness,” was an official selection of the Women’s Independent Film Festival in Los Angeles and earned the top award in the experimental category.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s Board of Trustees has named the newsroom on the first floor of McEwen Building in honor of Paul Parsons, who is stepping down as dean May 31.

Talent manager and publicist Brad Lemack will release his third book, “The New Business of Acting: The Next Edition," in September.
