ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ recognizes the 19 staff members who are retiring after years of dedicated service to the campus community.

The campus-wide change made in response to the COVID-19 outbreak comes as classes resume following Spring Break. Since ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ announced the change on March 11, faculty members have been working diligently to create robust online learning experiences for students.

All undergraduate courses will move from classroom instruction to online learning mode for the two weeks following Spring Break in response to the coronavirus. The university is offering a host of resources to help with the transition.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ saw seven staff members retire this academic year. 

Ryan Gay, manager of service management/project lead for Instructional & Campus Technologies, recently published an article on Help Desk International’s SupportWorld website detailing the department's change management evolution. 

 

The director of campus technology support and assistant chief information officer recently represented ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ at the Miami 2016 Connect Conference for EDUCAUSE: the leading nonprofit organization for those seeking to ‘advance higher education through the use of information technology.’

Dan Harder, ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s director of Campus Technology Support, recently presented at a collaborative session with other Universities at EDUCAUSE Connect. 

 

Campus Technologies held its 2nd annual Connected @ ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ event in Alumni Gym on Aug. 30 during New Student Orientation. Created to help incoming students learn about the technology available on campus, the theme of the show was Family Feud.
