Men’s tennis team racks up SoCon awards

The Southern Conference regular-season champion ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ men’s tennis team nearly made it a clean sweep of the conference postseason awards, winning three of the four major awards that were presented. Cameron Silverman was named the league’s freshman of the year, while senior Alberto Rojas became the second straight ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ player to be honored with the Don Bunch/Buddy Hartsell Sportsmanship Award. Head coach Michael Leonard was recognized as the SoCon Coach of the Year for the third time in his career.

Young Alumni Council gathers for spring meeting

Members of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ's Young Alumni Council gathered on campus April 1-2 for its annual spring meeting, welcoming new members, celebrating the success of the March IGNITE Challenge and honoring outstanding graduates of the past decade at the inaugural Top 10 Under 10 Awards banquet.

Megan Bonstein ’06 competing for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Woman of the Year

In January 2009, Megan Bonstein '06 was living her dreams in New York City when doctors told her she had chronic myelogenous leukemia. Two years later, she's in recovery and determined to help others suffering from blood cancers in the New York area. She's one of 12 nominees for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) 2011 New York Chapter Man and Woman of the Year Award - and she needs the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ community's help to win.
