David Henkel '03, Byron Hicks ’87, Anne “Oz” Staley ’74 and Ryan Vet ’13 are joining the ������Ƶ Alumni Board this fall.

Robin Newton’s ’07 time at ������Ƶ led her to both the Republican and Democratic National Conventions on behalf of C-SPAN.

The Department of Sport Management, in collaboration with the ������Ƶ in Charlotte program, Sport Management Society, and Women Influencers in Sport (WINS), hosted a Sept. 29 professional development event at the university’s Charlotte National Campus.

As part of ������Ƶ’s participation in the Pulitzer Center’s Campus Consortium, Rainforest Investigations Network Fellows Fernanda Wenzel and Andrew Lehren visited campus Sept. 24-26 to discuss the impact of investigative journalism and working in the news industry.

Under the guidance of ������Ƶ alumna Serena Archer ’19, the sport management major completed a 10-week internship program in her hometown at the University of Colorado Boulder.

Sean Leavitt '93 spoke at his first TEDx talk on Aug. 23 where he spoke on the greater purpose of diversity, equity and inclusion in the workforce and beyond.
