ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ has launched the public phase of the largest fundraising campaign in the school’s history. The Board of Trustees voted Oct. 10 to set a goal of raising $100 million by 2011 through Ever ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ: The Campaign for the Future of Our University.

This is the first of several videos the president will share with alumni this year via e-mail, Facebook, Twitter and E-Net.
Donors fund upgrades of Latham Park

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ will begin upgrades to the Walter C. Latham Park baseball facility following the 2010 baseball season. The improvements are made possible by a group of generous donors led by trustee Dr. Bryan Latham and his wife, Janet, of Miami, who made a $250,000 commitment to fund the work.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ trustee Frank R. Lyon ’71 and his wife, Natalie Lyon, of New Canaan, Conn., longtime supporters of the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ Academy, have made a major gift for the creation of an endowed scholarship that will aid graduates of the college enrichment program for high school students in Alamance County.
Robertson gift to fund Alumni Gym renovation

A major gift by ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ trustee Jeanne Robertson and her husband Jerry will provide lead funding for a renovation project for Alumni Gym in Koury Center. The project will upgrade ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ's home for basketball and volleyball, convocations and other large campus events.

Douglas G. and Edna Truitt Noiles ’44, of New Canaan, Conn., have made a $1 million gift to ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ to support the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ Academy, a university-run college access program for Alamance County high school students.
