A generous gift from ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ parents Clay and Cameron Smith P’22 will endow a scholarship in the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ College Fellows program. Their gift is part of the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ LEADS Campaign whose top priority is increasing scholarship funding.

A passionate and successful writer, Payne credits her time at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ and the Black Alumni Scholarship for helping her achieve greatness.

Taylor, development writer in University Advancement since 2017, passed away Jan. 6 after battling illness for several months.

Increasing access to an ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ education inspired the Moriartys to join A Will to Lead, a special initiative of the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ LEADS Campaign to encourage donors to make gifts to the university through their estate.
