The ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ network gathered to celebrate the impact of philanthropy, envision the future of the university together, and honor Trustee Ed Doherty and Joan Doherty P’07 with ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Medallions.

From late August through October, alumni across the country will have the chance to connect at Welcome to the City events hosted by their local alumni chapters.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Board of Trustees Chair Dave Porter and Jen Porter P’11 P’19 generously sponsored a visit for 15 students who expanded their professional contacts, toured major organizations in the area and connected with Boston-based alumni.

A generous gift from ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ parents Clay and Cameron Smith P’22 will endow a scholarship in the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ College Fellows program. Their gift is part of the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ LEADS Campaign whose top priority is increasing scholarship funding.

A passionate and successful writer, Payne credits her time at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ and the Black Alumni Scholarship for helping her achieve greatness.
