ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law conferred degrees Saturday on 122 graduates who celebrated the end of their legal education with an online ceremony streamed from Alumni Gym and featuring an address by Chief Judge Roger L. Gregory of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

Graduates in ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law’s Class of 2020 were recognized in an online program with school and professional honors for advocacy, legal writing and research, academic excellence, and excellence in service.

A towering figure in the North Carolina legal community, Dean Emeritus and Professor of Law George R. Johnson, Jr., who shepherded ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law through its first accreditation process with the American Bar Association, died November 15 following a lengthy illness.
