ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ is featuring a variety of photos every month to highlight the exceptional learning, work and activities of students, faculty and staff.

The program equips undergraduates with critical competencies across four essential areas: sector-specific training, foreign language proficiency, intercultural competence, and professional leadership development.

A team of School of Communications students oversaw the Broadcast Education Association’s Best of Festival Awards Ceremony in Las Vegas, managing all aspects of the live April 19 event. The experience paired high-level production work with the opportunity to meet renowned cinematographer Sir Roger Deakins.

The student-run news organization was recognized across multiple categories in the SPJ Region 2 Mark of Excellence Awards, including seven first-place finishes.

Through a two-year fellows program, the six students in this multidisciplinary cohort will undertake mentored undergraduate research projects, enroll in specialized coursework and engage in community-based learning with diverse religious communities.

Driven by a desire to transform education, ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Teaching Fellow Lily Ragals '26 has turned her undergraduate years into a global classroom, conducting state-conference research on autism representation in children's literature, studying inclusive education in New Zealand and exploring education policy in Washington, D.C.

The signature campus event provides an opportunity for ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students to showcase their undergraduate research, one of the five ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Experiences.

The student government associations at both institutions will meet virtually for the first time on April 24, 2026, with conversations expected around campus cultures, traditions and opportunities to collaborate as the two universities prepare to merge. 

The university's top undergraduate research award comes with $20,000 to support and celebrate academic and creative achievements.
