The FLEX Program is offered by ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s Master’s of Education program, with M.Ed. and special licensure candidates creating the curriculum and working with academically gifted students. 

Students in the Class of December 2017 will celebrate the completion of their legal education with a ceremony highlighted by remarks from Chief Justice Mark Martin of the Supreme Court of North Carolina.

Faculty advising new students and transfers will meet with advisees. Meeting locations are included in the material distributed earlier during the respective advising meetings.

Intended Audience: All ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ 101 Instructors.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ 101 faculty advisors meet with the families of advisees in the same location as for the advisees. Families of transfer students meet in Yeager Recital Hall.

Intended Audience: All ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ 101 Instructors.

Farewell lunch for families/students. Meal plan covers cost for student. There is a per-person fee of $10 for parents and other guests.

Intended Audience: New ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students and their families. ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ 101 faculty members will receive tickets. All other ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ employees may attend, but must purchase a ticket.

Academic Advisors are available in their offices to meet with new students having concerns about registration or class selection.

The New Student Convocation marks the official opening of the academic year and welcomes the Class of 2021 and transfer students.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s weekly tradition of community gathering begins with this year’s first College Coffee. In the spirit of being a part of a collegial community the Employee Resource Groups will be present to introduce themselves and answer questions about their missions and resources, so please stop by and introduce yourself! College Coffee continues throughout the school year on Tuesday mornings from 9:40 to to 10:10 a.m. Show your support for sustainability and bring your own cup.

Fifty-four ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students presented the work they've undertaken during Summer Undergraduate Research Experiences, an eight-week deep dive into research.
