The Office of the Dean of Students and Colleges Against Cancer invites all community members to a presentation and conversation with Amber Young of  Oral Cancer Cause on Wednesday, Oct. 11, in Lakeside 212.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students do a great deal of writing in their everyday lives. Their non-academic writing is an important element of their college experience and can positively impact their academic writing as well.

Students, faculty and staff shared their reactions to learning Monday that Dr. Connie Ledoux Book will serve as ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s ninth president.

Book, who will become ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ's ninth president on March 1, was welcomed by the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ community at a gathering in Alumni Gym on Monday, Oct. 9.

Hundreds gathered in Alumni Gym on Monday to hear from the President-elect and trustee leaders who elected her to serve as the university’s ninth president. 

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ journalism major Emmanuel Tobe ’21 participated this summer in WUNC’s Youth Reporting Institute, an annual program that provides young reporters an opportunity to pitch, report, write and produce radio news stories for North Carolina Public Radio.
