The 2025 Sport Management Internship Forum, held Sept. 29 in Turner Theatre, brought together ������Ƶ students to share their summer experiences with organizations across the sport industry, from NBC Universal to the New York Islanders.

From investigating illegal shark fishing in Costa Rica to mentoring scholars in the Odyssey Program and celebrating Hispanic heritage, Lilliana Molina ’27 is making her ������Ƶ journey one of impact and connection.

The new course, offered by Associate Teaching Professor of Communication Design Randy Piland, blends hands-on projects and flight simulations with discussions about ethics, privacy and the broader impact of drone use.

Assistant Professor of Nursing Lori Hubbard served as conference planning chairperson for the 2025 29th Annual Perinatal Partnership Conference held Sept. 7-9. Undergraduate research students and Nursing Fellows Julia Ricker and Gabi Carlson presented at the poster session during the conference.

The workshops bring students together to explore pressing social issues, learn about campus programs addressing those challenges and discover how to collaborate to make a greater impact.

The chapter is committed to supporting the professional development of future nursing professionals through student enrichment and hands on experiences and educational opportunities.

By highlighting the Food Studies Minor in this interactive format, the event raised awareness about the program’s focus on how food shapes health, sustainability and culture.
