ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s student news organization won several organizational and individual honors at a national college media conference held in Louisville, Kentucky.

Students analyzed economic conditions and recommended a course for monetary policy.

Faculty and students from ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s elementary education program represented at the N.C. Council of Teachers of Mathematics state conference on Nov. 1 and 2.

Connor Dwyer ’19 and Dan Brekus ’20 presented their analysis and recommendations for an artificial intelligence-related business case during the University of Arizona’s annual competition.

The success of the 11 students who competed means they will advance to the Mid-Atlantic Regionals to be held in Maryland in March. 

Elaine Bradley, drummer and singer in the rock band Neon Trees, will be speaking with students in the Music Production and Recording Arts Program during her visit Nov. 5-7.

About 3,000 alumni joined ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students, faculty and staff on campus for a variety of events celebrating their common connection to the university, each other. 

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s multi-faith community gathered Nov. 2 in the Sacred Space to stand against hate and show their support for the Jewish community.

The N.C. Council for Teachers of Mathematics recognizes outstanding mathematics education students at colleges and universities across the state in an effort to encourage student enjoyment of mathematics and mathematics education.  

The altar will be open to the public until Friday, Nov. 2, at 1:30 pm.
