ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ concludes the largest fundraising campaign in its history by celebrating the thousands of people who have invested in the university's future.

As the largest fundraising campaign in ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ history surpasses the $100 million mark, those who give, and those who benefit, share their stories.

The New Leaf Society, of Burlington, N.C., has made a gift-in-kind to the Ever ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Campaign to support the university’s new master of physician assistant studies program. The gift will support landscaping and other work associated with renovations of the Gerald L. Francis Center, which will house the PA and physical therapy programs on ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s main campus.

A $250,000 endowment gift to the Ever ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Campaign from The Levine-Sklut Family Foundation will significantly expand the university’s Jewish Studies program by establishing The Lori and Eric Sklut Emerging Scholar in Jewish Studies. This gift was made possible thanks to ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ parents Eric and Lori Sklut, of Charlotte, N.C.

The Faculty/Staff Campaign continues to gain momentum with a record 58 percent of employees making a gift to the university this year. Faculty and staff donors celebrated this achievement in McKinnon Hall on Wednesday, April 13. President Leo M. Lambert accepted a check for $290,464 from campaign co-chairs Jim Drummond and Rhonda Belton. Gifts have continued to come in and as of May 6, the total raised is $303,321.
