Five ������Ƶ students recently received a warm welcome in Italy as they became the first cohort to participate in the university’s new experiential learning partnership with Lumos Pistoia Basket 2000, a professional basketball club in Tuscany.

The chapter was including in the recently published book “How to Facilitate Community-Engaged Learning”

This fall marks the fourth year of the Study USA Charlotte program.

The daylong workshop, co-sponsored by the Isabella Cannon Global Education Center and the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning, was designed for faculty and staff who teach or lead study away programs, though it was open to anyone interested in strengthening global learning.

This year's fair will feature ������Ƶ study away programs in more than 30 countries.

The event is free and open to all ������Ƶ students. Faculty and staff are also welcome to attend.

Your Place in the World: Exploring Identity, Sustainability, and AI was a three-week course taught by a transatlantic team from the US, UK and Ireland.

For four students in the Infant Development Lab, dedication and consistent preparation over the last academic year made it possible for them to attend and present research at the International Conference on Infant Studies.

A new course introduced ������Ƶ Academy students to an international teaching team and fostered cross-cultural connections.

Assistant Professor of Education, Nermin Vehabovic, was invited by University of British Columbia scholar Sofia Noori to guest lecture in a Refugee Education course, where he engaged teacher candidates in exploring the role of stories in refugee education through the guiding question, “How do we listen to the stories of others?”
