Five ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students competed and won top awards at the National Association of Teachers of Singing Mid-Atlantic vocal competition and conference that was held at the College of Charleston in Charleston, SC, March 17-19. 

Director of Choral Activities Stephen A. Futrell presented a symposium at the Southern Division Conference of the American Choral Directors Association

Associate Professor of English, Prudence Layne, delivered the keynote address at the Seventh Annual Women of Excellence conference hosted by Halifax Community College on March 18, 2016.

Assistant professor of education publishes article in the peer-reviewed journal Social Studies and the Young Learner.  

Heidi Hollingsworth, Mary Knight-McKenna and Ren Bryan, co-authored an article on policy and advocacy content in early childhood personnel preparation.

A.L. Hook Assistant Professor Chad Awtrey and alumni Brett Barkley '15, Nicole Miles '15, Chris Shill '14, and Erin Strosnider '14 published their paper, "Degree 12 2-adic fields with automorphism group of order 4", in the most recent issue of the Rocky Mountain Journal of Mathematics.

 

Two teams of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students, faculty and staff - The Veggies and the Librarians on Greene - scored highest for their landfill waste reduction behaviors during this spring’s Phoenix Cup Competition.
