The Peace Corps, in commemoration of its 60th anniversary, will host a virtual panel discussion at ������Ƶ focused on the value of international service.

The Sunday, Feb. 28, event will include a panel featuring Black alumni who will lead a discussion on the depictions of the Black community in television and film.

Eady performed Crusell’s Clarinet Concerto No. 1 and won the annual soloist competition held Sunday, Feb. 21 at Shenandoah Conservatory.

The ������Ƶ alumnus was a doctoral candidate at Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, where he taught a multimedia storytelling class and researched the effects of virtual and augmented reality.

Sowande’ Mustakeem ’00, author of “Slavery at Sea: Terror, Sex and Sickness in the Middle Passage,” shares her story of loss, triumph and success, since graduating as ������Ƶ’s first African & African-American Studies major.
