ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ alumna and trustee Kerrii Brown Anderson ’79, former CEO of Wendy’s International, has issued a challenge to all young alumni: Make a gift of $20 or more during February and she’ll match it 5-to-1. Anderson wants to increase participation in annual giving among ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s young alumni.

Thanks to the nearly 100 alumni who participated in our inaugural Homecoming Photo Hunt! Our daily winners, Tiffany Warner '08, Lexi Swinimer '07, Rich Nowalk '97, Samantha Gilman '08 and Rob Saunders '08, will receive their signed copies of "Under the Oaks" from President Leo M. Lambert shortly. We look forward to bringing you the second-annual hunt next fall during Homecoming week.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ has launched the public phase of the largest fundraising campaign in the school’s history. The Board of Trustees voted Oct. 10 to set a goal of raising $100 million by 2011 through Ever ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ: The Campaign for the Future of Our University.

More than 250 people gathered in McKinnon Hall Monday night for the university’s annual scholarship dinner. Donors of need- and talent-based academic scholarships met with their student scholarship recipients and heard an update on the Ever ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Campaign and presentations from two Lumen Scholars.
