The team made it to the semifinal round and posted a very respectable 3-2 record for the tournament.

On Saturday, April 21, ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ was defeated in the first game by Georgia Tech, 7-2, but rebounded to win its next two games, defeating Duke, 12-5, and North Carolina, 4-1.

On Sunday, ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ met Duke again and won 5-3 to advance to the semifinal round against George Tech. After finishing regulation in a 3-3 tie, Georgia Tech won a tie-breaking shootout and advanced to the championship game. East Carolina defeated Georgia Tech in the championship game.

In addition, the junior varsity team had an equally successful season, finishing with a winning record of 11-10-1.
