Voices of Discovery lecture to focus on nanotechnology – Nov. 9

Kimberly Jones, an engineering professor from Howard University who specializes in nanotechnology with an emphasis on biomedical and environmental applications, will deliver a Voices of Discovery lecture at 7:30 p.m., Monday, Nov. 9, in McCrary Theatre.

“Kiss Me, Kate” premieres onstage – Oct. 29

The Department of Performing Arts returns to the stage this weekend with its production of the award-winning Broadway musical Kiss Me, Kate, which tells the story of two feuding romantic couples during a touring production of Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew. The show runs Oct. 29-31 and Nov. 6-8.

Carolina Classic Mock Trial Tournament draws top teams to ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ

Every room in the Koury Business Center was filled over Fall Break weekend for ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ’s 3rd annual Carolina Classic Mock Trial Tournament featuring 24 undergraduate teams from 16 universities, including Duke University, the University of North Carolina, Furman University and two-time national champion University of Virginia.
