Amy Allocco, associate professor of religious studies, will direct fellowship program for juniors and seniors to promote research and community engagement.

Longtime ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ benefactors Jeanne Swanner Robertson and Jerry R. Robertson received the university’s highest honor at the annual Night of the Phoenix event.  

Beginning on March 1, ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ will launch a new television system in campus residence halls, lounges and other common areas.   

Alexandra Solender Boyd '12 was named the National PhysTEC Teacher of the Year for her work at Holly Springs High School in Holly Springs, N.C.

Brian McDonald '01, a social studies teacher at Jordan High School in Durham, said "enlightening" speakers he heard while at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ prompted him to create something similar for high school students. 

Spencer Neiman '17 used the support he found at the Student Professional Development Center to help him land an internship that translated into a full-time job. 

Her support created the Vera Richardson Truitt Center for Religious and Spiritual Life and helped launch the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Academy.

President Leo M. Lambert and his family were honored at a special College Coffee on Feb. 14, as the campus community came together to thank him for his 18 years of service. 

Motka has experience working with refugees in Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan, and was joined by ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Professor Joel Shelton for the discussion.
