ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ has made available online customized announcements for graduating seniors and their parents to submit to hometown newspapers.

Leo M. Lambert, who concluded his service as ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ's eighth president earlier this year, delivered the Commencement address to the Class of 2018 on May 19, 2018. This post includes the full text and video of Lambert's address. 

President Emeritus Leo M. Lambert delivered the 2018 Commencement address in Alumni Gym during dual ceremonies after bad weather drove the celebration indoors.

Owen Gaffney '17 participated in ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ's ROTC programs, which are offered in collaboration with N.C. A&T State University. 

Family, friends and ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ faculty and staff gathered on May 17 with the 25 students in the Master of Arts in Interactive Media program's Class of 2018 to celebrate their completion of the program. 

Six members of the Class of 2018 participated in a signing ceremony in Clohan Theatre to formalize their participation in two service-year programs offered by ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ in partnership with local organizations. Six fellows who have completed their year of service were also recognized. 

Seniors, faculty and staff filled Lakeside Dining Hall on Wednesday for the annual Senior Picnic sponsored by the Office of Alumni Engagement and the Office of the Provost. 

A member of the Class of 2018 will be able to share this special day with her parents, neither of whom have been out of their home country before. 

Three members of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s Class of 2018 and a recent alumna are among 10 ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students selected for Fulbright awards this year — a record for the university. 

A record 11 ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students and alums have been awarded Fulbright grants this spring to teach English or conduct research, adding to ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s reputation as a top producer of Fulbright award winners.
