The building dedication during Homecoming offered the opportunity to express gratitude for supporters of the project including ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ parents Jim and Beth Sankey of Charlotte, N.C. The building is named for Jim Sankey's father, a business leader in Canton, Ohio, who passed away in 2013. 

The founder and CEO of Hint Inc., Goldin detailed her path to success during her visit to ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ to deliver the 2018 C. Ashton Newhall Endowed Lecture on Thursday, Nov. 1. 

The ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ community is invited to the Sacred Space at 4 p.m. on Friday to bless Shabbat and remember those killed Oct. 27 in the shooting at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh. 

The issues raised by the new book by ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Professor Toddie Peters, "Trust Women: A Progressive Christian Argument for Reproductive Justice," served as a focus for the Oct. 29 panel discussion. 

Jason Husser, associate professor of political science and director of the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Poll, joined other political scientists from around the state on the Oct. 26 episode of the weekly public affairs program on WUNC.

The Sacred Space in the Numen Lumen Pavilion was filled Sunday night as members of the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ community came together to share prayers of love and peace

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ alumni young and old will return to campus Nov. 2-4 for a homecoming celebration that will include music, sports, awards and fellowship. 

The program has seen continued growth and success in recent years, with ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ named as a top producer of Peace Corps volunteers by the service organization earlier this year. A fall kick-off celebration for the program will be held on Oct. 30.
