Family, friends and ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ faculty and staff gathered on May 22 with the 28 students in the Master of Arts in Interactive Media program's Class of 2019 to celebrate their completion of the program. 

Six members of the Class of 2019 participated in a signing ceremony in Clohan Theatre to formalize their participation in two service-year programs offered by ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ in partnership with local organizations. Six fellows who have completed their year of service were also recognized. 

Sponsored by the Office of Alumni Engagement and the Office of the Provost, the annual event offers a chance for seniors, faculty and staff to gather heading into Commencement. 

Chandler Vaughan ’21 will study this summer at the University of Bristol through the program, which is sponsored by the U.S.-U.K. Fulbright Commission. She becomes the second student selected in recent years for the prestigious program. 

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Baseball Coach Mike Kennedy and ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Men's Tennis Coach Michael Leonard were each named Colonia Athletic Association Coach of the Year for their sports. 

Megan Squire, professor of computer science, was among those featured in the piece who are tracking domestic terrorism online. 

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ's Commencement ceremonies this week will be streamed live. 

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ continues to build upon its reputation as a top producer of Fulbright award winners with members of the Class of 2019 who will be teaching in Mexico, the Czech Republic, South Korea and Malaysia through the prestigious program. 

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ, which in March was named a top producer of Peace Corps volunteers, recently recognized 10 students who completed the Peace Corps Prep program along with those who will become Peace Corps volunteers following graduation. 

Friends, family and supporters gathered with members of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Academy's Lambda Class to applaud their achievements and cheer them on as they prepare to start college this fall.
