Group Exercise is sponsoring a new program, The Biggest GXer, based on the hit TV show, The Biggest Loser!

The program will kick off on Sunday, April 5, with Strength and Relaxation and culminate on Friday, April 10, with Pump It Up! Each participant is assigned to a team color and there are different challenges in store throughout the week to boost your score. The team and the individual with the most points at the end of the week will receive prizes!

Sign up today through April 3 during all regular group exercise classes.

Open to anyone with an 08-09 GX pass. For more information, see a group exercise instructor.

March 6 – Flashback Cardio
Break out the sweatbands for this 80s themed, full-body workout.

March 13 – Ballin’ Ballistics
Have a ball in this high speed strengthening and toning workout using all the ball equipment.

In addition to the original classes we are now offering a few more specialized cycle classes that will put a unique “spin” on your regular workout! Come try them out:

Monday: Cycle ‘N Sculpt 4-5 p.m.

Tuesday: Namaste Cycle 6:30-7:15 a.m.
                 Cycle 4-5 p.m.

Wednesday: Interval Cycle 5:15-6:15 p.m.

Thursday: CSI (Cardio Strength Interval) Cycle 5:15-6:15 p.m.

Pick yours up today at the front desk of the Campus Recreation Center and come try out the new classes such as H2OFit, Power Yoga, Step N Tone, Namaste Cycle (all cycle classes are back in the Koury Center), and Burn N Firm.

Classes are open to everyone with a $10 ’08-’09 GX pass. Still don’t have one? Ask about it at the front desk today to kick start your spring workout!
