ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ junior Lindsey Jordan ’19, of Mooresville, North Carolina, shares her passion for helping others thanks to the life-changing impact of her Honors Fellows scholarship. This is the first in a series of videos highlighting the impact of endowed scholarships at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ. 

The generous gift from ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ trustee, alumnus and parent Jack R. Lindley Sr. ’56 P’83 and his wife, Dorothy C. Lindley P’83, of Burlington, North Carolina, will provide valuable funding to help secure the university’s future.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Trustee and parent Eric Sklut and his wife, Lori Sklut, of Charlotte, North Carolina, will help bring outstanding students to the university and strengthen funding for a Jewish studies professorship.

The gift from Robert A. Clohan III ’67, the late ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ alumnus, parent and grandparent, and his son, alumnus and Trustee Charles R. Clohan ’98, will support construction of Sankey Hall. In recognition of the gift from one of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ's most generous families, the university will rename Colonnades Dining Hall as Clohan Hall on Thursday, Dec. 7 at 4:15 p.m.

Inspired by ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ's commitment to scholarship funding, retired faculty member Nancy Midgette, of Montreat, North Carolina, decided to support students in the Odyssey Program with her gift.
