HEART Grief Support Group Meetings Every Wednesday

Come to a HEART (Helping ��Ƶ’s Ailing Remember Together) support group meeting if you are looking to connect with other students and learn more about the organization.

HEART provides opportunities for ��Ƶ students to support one another through sharing their concerns related to loss, bereavement, and/or having a very ill loved one.

Meetings are 5:30-6:30 p.m. on Wednesdays in Koury Athletic Center, room 224-A (the Atkins Conference Room), except for on 2/20, 2/27 and 4/24, when they will be held in KOBC 206.

Kopper Top Needs Volunteers on Jan. 24!

Kopper Top Life Learning Center, an animal-assisted therapy organization, needs volunteers on Tuesday, Jan. 24, to take the small animals to a new pet therapy location in Greensboro. Volunteers would help get the dogs, cats, and bunnies ready in the morning and engage with residents at the White Stone Manor retirement home at 2.

De-Stress with the Animals! – Dec. 7

Looking for a break from studying? Come de-stress with the Kopper Top animals and SPARKS!

Dogs, cats and a rabbit from Kopper Top Life Learning Center will be on the green between the gym and library (rain location is McKinnon Terrace, which is on the side of Moseley–ask the front desk if you can’t find it!).

Come by to visit with the animals, learn more about Kopper Top, and get some great de-stress tips for exam time. The animals will be here from 10:30 to 1:30.

Kopper Top is an animal therapy non-profit that has therapeutic riding lessons, small animal therapy programs, and other recreational therapy services. If you are interested in learning more about the organization or volunteering opportunities, please contact Elise Noyes at koppertop@elon.edu.
