Sexual Assault Awareness Week is this week, September 24-27

Presented by Resident Student Association and sponsored by a variety of other organizations and departments, Awareness Week provides students with a number of opportunities to be educated about the dangers of sexual assault and the link between substance abuse and sexual assault.

Students can take part in events that teach them self-defense, guidelines for healthy relationships, and awareness and respect for their bodies.

Assault Awareness Week, RSA invites you to take part in the Men and Women’s
Healthy Relationships Forums.

These workshops are
separately geared toward the male and female genders concerning the college dating
experience, the interaction between males and females, and ways that students can improve the dating climate on campus.

These workshops are a
great opportunity for students to connect, share stories and learn how to
engage in healthy relationships.

Self-Defense Workshops Sept. 24-25

As part of the Sexual Assault Awareness Week, RSA invites you to take part in the Self-Defense Workshops sponsored by the Office of Campus Safety and Police.

These workshops are facilitated by ��Ƶ’s Campus police.

They are offered both Monday night and Tuesday night at 8:30 pm.

Monday night’s workshop will be held in Moseley 215.
Tuesday night’s workshop will be held in McCoy Commons (The Oaks Commons).

Cirque du Soleil in Greensboro Sept. 20

RSA is sponsoring a trip to the Greensboro Coliseum on Thursday, Sept. 20, to see Cirque du Soleil’s Saltimbanco.

Tickets are available in the RSA Office every day after 2 pm.

Tickets are $15. You must be prepared to pay (cash or check) when you come to pick up the ticket!

There are only 20 TICKETS left, so hurry by the office!

It’s about that time of year again, when exams roll around. But exams mean Reading Day and Reading Day means RSA’S Crunch Brunch is back!!!

What could be a better way to energize yourself and clear your head before your exams than eating FREE breakfast food and being serenaded by Rip_Chord and Twisted Measure?!?

And this Spring, RSA has created the first ever Crunch Brunch t-shirt. The shirt features a dinosaur and some tasty food. Shirts will be available at Crunch Brunch for only $5!
