Rhonda Belton, associate director of institutional research for ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ, was a guest at an atypical December Academic Affairs Advisory Council meeting that took a pleasant turn she was not expecting.

Move-In Day 2024 at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ on Aug. 23 featured support from 170 staff and faculty volunteers, over 100 Orientation Student Leaders, over 100 Residence Life Student Leaders, all fall student-athletes and their coaches and an additional 174 student volunteers.

The new center for children will offer care and early childhood development for infants, toddlers and two-year-olds of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ faculty, staff and students and will be managed by child care provider Vivvi.

Departments across ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ united to host 1,000 athletes, coaches and staff across 58 events during the 2024 CAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships held May 10-11 at the Jerry and Jeanne Robertson Track and Field Complex.

The Center for Leadership at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ and the Kernodle Center for Civic Life are collaborating with the Alamance-Burlington School System during a hygiene drive for K-12 youth in the county. The drive is part of the weeklong Pay it Forward Week April 20-27, 2024.

Three events were offered during Multiracial Awareness Week 2024 at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ to proactively support multiracial communities and recognize it as a growing need, not just at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ, but nationally as well.
