Thirty-four students in ������Ƶ’s Communications Fellows program participated in a 10-day trip in January to the Sunshine State, touring communications companies, meeting with industry professionals, and exploring what their future careers might look like.

������Ƶ supported a group of 20 staff members to participate in a transformative global experience during the Faculty Staff London Program 2024. They brought home new relationships and shared experiences that will enhance the student global experiences at ������Ƶ across multiple ������Ƶ departments.

The authors of the book, which recounts the horrific shooting at Mother Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, S.C., and its aftermath, will lead a discussion in McCrary Theatre. The event was originally scheduled for Jan. 9 but was postponed due to the threat of severe weather.

School of Communications faculty members Cara Lucia, Shaina Dabbs and Mark Cryan co-published a manuscript, titled “Why Living in a Sport Management Learning Community Matters,” in the Sports Innovation Journal.

Matt Trez and Zoë Rein from the Class of 2023 were part of a new program for recent ������Ƶ graduates who want to earn a master’s degree from the university on a full scholarship when they teach for two years in the Alamance-Burlington School System.
