Ƶ Volunteers! is hosting our monthly Institute for Civic and Community Engagement on Thursday, Nov. 9, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in McKinnon Hall
Each month is framed by one of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and features a speaker from the community or campus on the topic. For November’s Institute we are focusing on goal 4, “Quality Education.” John Pickett, Director of Ƶ Academy, will present on local efforts for college access and success. This will be a great opportunity to learn more about education in both a global and local context.
There will be food and a raffle for a $25 Irazu gift card and $25 Oak House gift card.
