Children from the local Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club and those participating in the It Takes a Village Project from Andrews Elementary School recently joined the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Phoenix and President Book at The Inn at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ for the hunt.
Dozens of children from The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club of Alamance County and from Andrews Elementary recently joined ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ President Connie Ledoux Book and the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Phoenix at The Inn at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ for a special Easter egg hunt.
The children enjoyed games, storytime and face-painting with President Book and the Phoenix before seeking out hundreds of Easter eggs hidden on the inn’s grounds. Students from the Dr. Jo Watts Williams School of Education assisted with the special event.
