D.C. alumni and ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ student interns network at annual summer event

The Washington, D.C. alumni chapter hosted its annual summer social for alumni and student interns

On June 13, the D.C. alumni chapter welcomed ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ student interns who are working in the D.C. area to the chapter’s annual summer social for the opportunity to network with alumni and meet fellow interns.

For new chapter president Kristin Ruffe ’15, this marked the first event in her new leadership role. “I was able to witness new connections being made, welcome a bunch of interns to the city, and even share some stories of my days back in ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ,” Ruffe said. “It was awesome to see how many bright young ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students are here interning in our nation’s capital, representing a large number of industries and very reputable companies. It makes me proud to don my ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ swag around the city.”

The chapter was delighted to welcome the student interns to the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ community in D.C. and show them the strength of the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ alumni network.
