Katie Baker, assistant professor of education, has been awarded a Service, Teaching and Research (STaR) Fellowship through the Association of Mathematics Teacher Educators.

Abby Deese, a reference librarian at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ School of Law, travels to Illinois in April for professional development and networking opportunities at the 2018 American Association of Law Librarians Leadership Academy.

The annual service-learning conference hosted by North Carolina Campus Compact revisits the “students as colleagues” approach and  includes 40 breakout workshops on various civic and community engagement topics

Representatives from 27 colleges and universities will gather at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ to explore the theory and practice of “deliberative pedagogy.”
