ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ will be celebrating the National Day on Writing with events all across campus on Friday, Oct. 20.
As part of the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ’s Writing Excellence Initiative, ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ strives to celebrate writing in all forms with students, faculty and staff, as well as community members.
This year ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ will host the following events to support a variety of responses to the theme of #WhyIWrite:
Book Spine and Blackout Poetry, Curriculum Resource Center, Mooney 111, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Favorite Letters of the Law, Law School, ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ Law School, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Resume & Cover Letter Drop-In, Student Professional Development Center, Belk Library, 10 a.m. to noon
Tweet for a Sweet, Center for Writing Excellence, The Writing Center, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where I’m From, The Center for Race, Ethnicity & Diversity Education, The CREDE, Noon to 1 p.m.
Solution Seekers, Live Oak Communications, Schar Hall 103, Noon to 2:30 p.m.
Application Write-In, National & International Fellowships, The Oak House, Noon to 4:30 p.m.
Weekly Twitter Chats, English Department, Wednesdays in October on Twitter #eloneng213, 2 to 3 p.m.
