The family of Derek Winton, an ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ senior who passed away in September 2016.
Members of the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ community are invited to gather at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 15, for a ceremony of remembrance for Derek Winton, .
Winton’s parents, David and Julie Winton, and their daughter, Mariel, will be on campus to plant a tree for their late son. The event at the north end of the colonnades between Koury Athletic Center and Lakeside Dining Hall will include a simple ceremony, remembrances and refreshments. Those gathered will have the opportunity to offer any thoughts or memories.
