Throughout the month of November, the brothers of the Lambda-Lambda Chapter of Kappa Sigma Fraternity at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ grew mustaches to raise awareness and solicit donations for men’s health issues in support of the Movember Foundation.

The Movember Foundation tackles men’s health issues on a global scale throughout the year. This includes addressing some of the biggest health issues faced by men: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s Kappa Sigma chapter began the month with a goal of raising $15,000 to be donated to the Movember Foundation campaign. After a full month of putting their razors down and raising money, the fraternity was able to surpass their goal and finish the month with $15,996 raised, earning the chapter a national ranking of 54th among groups raising money for the foundation.

This is the fourth consecutive year ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s Kappa Sigma chapter has raised more than $10k for this worthy cause. The group looks forward to next November when they will participate in the Movember Foundation campaign yet again.
