A section of East Haggard Avenue that runs through campus will be closed from 3:30 to 10 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 21.
As you make preparations for Homecoming weekend at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ, be aware that some activities will impact traffic patterns.
Please be advised that a section of East Haggard Avenue between North Williamson and North O’Kelley avenues will be closed on Friday, Oct. 21, 2016, from 3:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. for Rock the Block, a new event for ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s 2016 Homecoming celebration that will feature a fair-like environment with family friendly activities and all-age entertainment.
Police will be on hand to direct traffic around the closure.
The Town of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ, ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ, and the N.C. Department of Transportation remind motorists to watch signs for closure information, stay alert and obey the posted speed limit.
