Faculty from UNC, Wake Forest, and ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ praise Claussen's scholarship, wrestle with his book's protagonist

Associate Professor Amy Overman and ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students Alison Richard '16 and Michelle Stocker '16 presented research at the annual North Carolina Cognition Group conference.

The third annual #ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵDay celebration raised $955,099 from 3,749 gifts, making it the single greatest day of giving in ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s history.

A 7:30 p.m. lecture in Whitley Auditorium by legal expert Danielle Keats Citron is part of a grant provided by the Lauren Dunne Astley Memorial Fund to promote healthy relationships between young men and women and prevent domestic violence.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ women's basketball head coach  has been named an assistant coach for the 2016 USA Basketball Women's U18 National Team, USA Basketball. 

Michelle Alfini ’16 traveled to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in March to discuss her scholarly paper highlighting the U.S. media coverage of human rights issues in Russia prior to the 2014 Sochi Games. 

Professor Cynthia “Cindy” Fair delivered ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s 2016 Distinguished Scholar Award Lecture on Tuesday with stories of her research into the lives of young people born with HIV, and the challenges they face transitioning from pediatric care into adult health care settings. 

Human Service Studies faculty and students assisted the Vctim's Advocacy Council of Alamance (VACA) in assessing the Coordinated Community Response Protocols developed for handling cases of domestic violence.  

Cynthia “Cindy” Citrone P’17, of Southport, Connecticut, and David “Dave” King, of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, were recently elected to the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Board of Trustees.
