The annual gathering of the Mathematical Association of North Carolina will include a lecture and poster session.
ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ’s Department of Mathematics and Statistics is hosting the 2015 Mathematical Association of America North Carolina State Dinner on Oct. 26. The event schedule is as follows:
3:30 – 4:30 p.m. – Lecture by Dave Kung, professor of mathematics at St. Mary’s College of Maryland, on “Harmonious Equations: A Mathematical Exploration of Music” in Whitley Auditorium
5 – 6 p.m. – Poster Session in Lakeside Meeting Rooms
6 – 8 p.m. – Dinner and Keynote talk by Professor Kung in Lakeside Meeting Rooms
