In the first game of the year the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Mens Club Rugby team gave a tremendous effort but came up short vs NC State 22-20.
John Rhodes and Jake Sandford scored second half trys for ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ and Quinn Hefferon added both conversions and two penalty conversions. Man of the Match is junior Jake Sandford who scored his first career try in the second half. Honorable mention for Man of the Match is Sean Murphy who came back from being abroad in Prague last semester and was all over the field making plays and Quinn Hefferon who kept ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ in the match with his foot making key conversions.
