The campus community on April 11 celebrated a Hindu holiday that marks the arrival of spring and the triumph of good over evil.

The final ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Poll of the spring semester will ask residents of North Carolina about their opinions on various social, economic and political issues.  

At ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law’s April Reception with the Legal Community, 34 students were recognized for significant pro bono and community service, including third-year law student Caitlin Cutchin who was recognized for contributing the most pro bono hours while at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ with 581 hours logged. 

Jenni Johnson, Darris Means and Kimberly Pyne presented at the annual conference of the American College Personnel Association held in Indianapolis.

Christopher Waters, ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ's deputy chief information officer, recently presented an educational session at the Association for Communication and Information Professionals Conference in Dallas.

Three ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ education students were inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, the oldest and often considered the nation’s most prestigious honor society, during an April 7 dinner and ceremony where Jill McCorkle, an award-winning Southern novelist, served as the keynote speaker.

The book explores the candor of Supreme Court nominees during their confirmation hearings.
