ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Music Ambassadors perform throughout northern Virginia

The ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Music Ambassadors complete a six-day performance tour of northern Virginia with their newest program, Soul of the Cinema.

The ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Music Ambassadors, under the direction of music faculty Virginia  Novine Whittaker, recently returned from a six- day performance tour of northern Virginia.

The ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Music Ambassadors, an elite ensemble consisting of select music majors, performed their newest program entitled Soul of the Cinema, for high school audiences. This exciting program was created by the ensemble members who arranged all of the music with guidance from their director, to spotlight each of the highly talented members of the group.

The goal of the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Music Ambassadors is to showcase the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ music department and ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ to high school audiences. This is the sixth performance tour that EMA has completed since its inception in Fall 2011.  Over the past two years, EMA has visited 32 different high schools in five states, performing for approximately 4,000 high school students.
