Veteran Hollywood vocalist and consultant Nick Cooper '94 is one of the coaches featured on E! Television's new series "Opening Act," which debuted Monday, July 9.
The show focuses on up-and-coming vocalists seeking to becoming opening acts for the industry’s most popular artists.
One of Hollywood’s most sought-after vocal consultants, Cooper spent more than a decade as chief executive officer of International Music Works and founded He has worked with top artists including Beyonce, David Archuletta and Jada Pinkett-Smith and consulted for programs such as the Grammys, American Music Awards, “Good Morning America” and “Soul Train,” among others. Cooper also holds the distinction of being the first American pop artist to record a record in Beijing.
