Durice White '09, coordinator of alumni engagement for affinity programs, was named the African & African-American Studies at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ (AAASE) Staff Person of the Year.
The award recognizes White’s “strong commitment to the study of black life and culture at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ.” In the past year, White has worked extensively with the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Black Alumni Network, Black History Month, the African-American Wall of Fame induction, Martin Luther King, Jr. Beloved Community celebration programming and other events and activities.
