UPDATE: With the help of the Service Learning Community, ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Hillel donated 439 pounds of food and $100 in cash to the Food Bank of Eastern and Central North Carolina.
During the Jewish High Holidays, ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Hillel will be sponsoring our annual food drive. We are accepting any non-perishable canned foods, sanitary products, or cash. Donations may be brought to:
– Hillel’s Moseley tables on 9/28 and 10/3-10/7
– the Truitt Center
– or contact Rachel Stanley (rstanley4@elon.edu) to pick up donations anywhere.
All donations will be matched pound-for-pound. Donations will be given to the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina.
Last year, ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Hillel collected over 150 pounds of food and is looking forward to collecting even more this year.
