Nannie Graham Keck, ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ's oldest living alumna, died on Thursday, Aug. 11, at her home in Burlington, N.C. She was 103.
While a student at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ, Keck was a member of Tau Zeta Phi sorority and produced last year for Tau Zeta Phi’s 90th Anniversary reunion (Tau Zeta Phi became Sigma Sigma Sigma in 1970). Upon graduating from ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ in 1928, Keck taught in Alamance County schools for a quarter-century and in 1999 was honored as the county’s Mother of the Year.
